Overview
A residential pool builder ran sales, design, permitting, construction and accounting each on their own tools — and people were the integration layer. ClawCTRL designed and built a single system around the way the company actually operates: a CRM and project-management platform for the office, a field app for reps and project managers, and a customer app where homeowners build, price and follow their own pool.
Challenge
Leads lived in one system, projects in another, schedules in a third, and customer communication across email, text and paper. Nobody could answer "what's holding up this build?" without three phone calls. Every hand-off between sales, permits, construction and accounting was a chance for something to slip.
Approach
We mapped the real workflow first — from lead to signed contract to permits, excavation, shell, tile, equipment and final — then designed one data model underneath all of it. The CRM handles pipeline, tasks, leaderboards and a live 'needs attention' feed. A build engine tracks every project through its stages with a build clock, crew planning and daily dispatch routes. The customer app lets homeowners configure and price a pool in 2D/3D, review add-ons, save a design and follow their project. Automation and AI sit across it: permit document review, follow-up nudges, and alerts when a build stalls.
Result
A connected technology ecosystem designed around the company's operational workflow — hundreds of active builds and thousands of leads managed in one place, a customer app in homeowners' hands, and a foundation that keeps absorbing new workflows instead of adding new tools.
